Our Stranmillis Restaurant was featured as "Restaurant of the Week" in this week's edition of the Belfast Telegraph's Community Telgraph. We received a highly complementary review with the chosen starters declared
"delicious" and "melt in the mouth"; the pizzas crust was described as "soft and chewy" and the toppings "cooked to juicy perfection". The other main courses also received the thumbs up. "The Ricotta Cannelloni was praised for it's rich creaminess, while the burger was deemed as perfectly cooked." The service was also highly praised, with the Reviewer declaring "the overall experience was made even more enjoyable by the excellent service provided by some of the most attentive and professional restaurant staff in Belfast." The meal for 4 with starters, main courses, a bottle of Deakin Estate Chardonnay and a couple of soft drinks totalling £58 was considered to be an "absolute bargain" and "a perfect remedy to empty kitchen cupboards." Belfast Telegraph's Elaine Smyth's verdict on our Stranmillis Restaurant following a recent visit with a pal. "A relaxing and comfortable place in which to enjoy a meal." What did they eat?An All day breakfast Pizza and a Home-made Steakburger. The Verdict?Thumbs up for the Pizza which Elaine declared "....delicious-a thin crispy base topped with slices of fresh tomato, slivers of salty bacon, mushrooms and an egg sunny side up in the middle. Her friend declared the steakburger "tasty.." and the French fries "suitably dry with just the right amount of crunch". Last word? A PIZZA SUCCESS ! View the Review
